We haven’t seen anything of the next entry in the Fable series in development by Playground Games, but it seems like players shouldn’t be too worried about it. Speaking during the latest episode of the Dropped Frames podcast, Xbox’s head Phil Spencer briefly commented on the game, saying that fans of the series should take confidence from Playground’s work for the Forza Horizon series. Nightfalls and the Vanguard ritual activities were the big discussion topic this week for Destiny 2. Bungie announced some major changes coming to the activity in a few weeks when Season 16 officially arrives. Modifiers are being changed, the playlist is gaining the four Battleground activities, and even returning weapons were being teased. All in all, these numerous changes to the Vanguard playlist should go a long way to making it feel a bit fresher going forward....

In Destiny 2, Exotic weaponry is usually supposed to represent the pinnacle of its niche. Whereas Legendary weapons generally come with fewer perks that might not synergize quite as well as they do with Exotics, Legendaries do get the added bonus of being able to support mods, something that Exotic weapons won’t be doing according to Proctor. Bungie’s Staff Designer Chris Proctor has gone on record to talk about some of the changes that are coming to Destiny 2 with the release of its Witch Queen DLC....

With the introduction of the Beyond Light expansion, Destiny 2 players were treated to a new story campaign set on Europa, alongside the ability to use the powers of the Dark as well as the Light for the first time ever. These new Stasis subclasses brought about some major changes to Destiny 2, especially where PvP was concerned. Since then, the game has been balanced multiple times, tweaking the powers of the Stasis subclasses so that they’re not just overpowered....

February is bringing a lot of change to Destiny 2. The release of The Witch Queen will kick off Year 5 and pull on the final narrative threads relating to Destiny 2’s Light and Darkness saga. The end is still a couple of years away, and in the meantime Destiny 2 is set on continuing to make changes to the overall player experience. These changes include the removal of major locations and storylines, as the Forsaken expansion is part of all the content getting vaulted when The Witch Queen launches, but there are also overhauls coming to many of Destiny 2’s systems....

Between Dragon Age 2 and Dragon Age: Inquisition, there was a little text-based Dragon Age game officially made by BioWare. The text-based game was utterly story-driven and took place in a marquisate called Serault. In the game, called The Last Court, the player would take the role of the Marquis of Serault and make decisions to try to get the marquisate back into good standing with Orlesian society. The old ruler of Serault (the players’ grandfather) was simply called the “Shame,” and was a ruthless apostate mage that became an abomination....

Dragon Ball FighterZ’s popularity has been demonstrated this week by the high number of registrants for this year’s EVO tournament. In fact, the recorded EVO registrants is the highest for any game at this year’s competition. These numbers may indicate that as Dragon Ball FighterZ continues to expand so too does its success within the community. The high number of registrants is quite an achievement for the game considering it will be debuting at this year’s tournament....
