Bungie released Destiny 2 back in 2017, and it continues to evolve the live service title with new weapons, areas to explore, and fixes for any lingering problems. Preparing for the Witch Queen expansion that was released today, Bungie has performed its planned maintenance on Destiny 2 which took the servers offline for a limited time. The Destiny 2 outages occurred simultaneously across the world, with some players being more impacted by the maintenance wait due to its timing than others depending on their time zone....

Destiny has had some incredible weapons appear in the series since the first game released in 2014. While Destiny 2 has expanded on the exotic weapons that players can get, there are still some iconic guns from the first game that would be nice to see reappear in the second. A lot of previous weapons have been given an opportunity to shine in the sequel, with guns like Hawkmoon, Thorn, and The Last Word all having been integrated into the looter shooter, but other fan favorites continue to be noticeably absent....

Last month, BioWare general manager Gary McKay created a bog plot where he reflected on 2021 at BioWare and discussed goals for 2022—including communicating with the community. So, it’s not too surprising that he has made yet another blog post this month, with it largely focusing on Dragon Age 4. Announced back at The Game Awards 2018, not much has been shown for the game since. There has been a trailer or two, but nothing of any real substance for the game....

The true origin of the Darkspawn is one of the biggest mysteries in Dragon Age. The Andrastian Chantry claims that Tevinter’s Magisters Sidereal were turned into the first Darkspawn as punishment for breaching the Veil and entering the Maker’s Golden City. The Imperial Chantry refutes this account, while the Dwarves, who have the most contact with the Darkspawn between the Blights, have no account of the creatures’ origins at all. Dying Light 2 runs at a solid frame rate on consoles, according to Digital Foundry. However, the Xbox Series S version is limited to 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second (and doesn’t even have ray tracing), which irked some users.
