The space dwarves featured in Deep Rock Galactic can now run at far higher frame rates thanks to the newly added support for the NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and AMD FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) image reconstruction techniques on PC. The additions are only part of the latest Deep Rock Galactic update that activated Season 2: Rival Escalation on PC (consoles will get the new season on May 5th)....

Season of the Splicer has landed in Destiny 2, and all players are able to get their hands on the new Exotic Stasis Sidearm, Cryosthesia 77K, and its accompanying catalyst upgrade. The catalyst further improves the weapon by refilling its magazine whenever the user shatters a target frozen by Stasis. The ‘Stasis Trigger’ catalyst quest tasks Destiny 2 players with completing several time-consuming but reasonably easy objectives. The Exotic Rocket Launcher Deathbringer also received an Exotic Catalyst that players can easily obtain simply by playing playlist activities....

In this week’s TWAB post, Bungie started to talk about the changes that are being made to Destiny 2 when The Witch Queen expansion drops in a little over a month. Destiny 2’s Masterwork armor and guns will change substantially, with the former becoming much less expensive to have their elemental affinities changed, and the latter not generating Orbs of Power anymore in favor of armor mods to do that, instead....

News broke in late March that Microsoft was trying to acquire Discord for a price point around $10 billion, which many expected to see carried out. There appears to have been a dramatic shift, however, as Discord’s talks with Microsoft have now reportedly ended unsuccessfully....

Fallout fans rejoice – a brand-new Nuka-World-sized Fallout 4 worldspace mod has been released, The Wilderness mod. Created by modder ‘El Ha’, “The Wilderness” mod for Fallout 4 adds a worldspace that is at least as large as the game’s sixth DLC, and comes with a horror-themed main quest spread around ruins, lakes, forests, and an abandoned town. According to the mod’s creator, this worldspace mod was mainly designed for Fallout players who love survival....

DNF Duel is six days away, and the game’s been pretty active with revealing details related to the game’s package at launch. Character trailers, offline modes, and other features (such as the game’s story mode or a Lore tab) have been the general meat of the game’s footage as of late, and at launch, the roster looks to be pretty varied and unique, along with giving players things to do offline....

Destroying a car is a throwback to many fighting games, so it’s shocking to see it make an appearance in a cute sports game like Dodgeball Academia. Dominique Thorne is set to make her first appearance as Ironheart in the upcoming sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which will fortunately again be directed by Ryan Coogler. After years of rumors, FromSoftware finally lifted the veil on its latest title Elden Ring at E3 2021. The past few years have seen more and more Soulslike titles rise to popularity, but there’s nothing quite like a FromSoftware title.
