It is currently winding down its free mystery game promotion, which has given fans 13 games thus far (counting today’s offering). That follows the free Epic Games Store games that were given away at the start of the month and will be followed by new games that reach into the new year (December 30-January 6). Rumor has it: the mystery promo and new games of the first year will be Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider....

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles is the first console game based on the popular anime series. It was made as a collaboration between Sega and CyberConnect2. This is a big deal seeing as CyberConnect2 usually works with Bandai Namco on these fighting/RPG hybrid anime tie-in projects. A great example would be the Naruto Ultimate Ninja titles. Looks like Sega swooped this popular property from under Bandai Namco’s feet....

An extended Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade PS5 trailer has been released, showing off the game’s visual enhancements and features on Sony’s next-gen console. Granted, a lot of the footage seen in the video was already present in the trailer that Sony and Square Enix showed off during last month’s State of Play showcase. This extended cut, however, contains some additional scenes from the upcoming PS5 version that weren’t included with last month’s trailer....

Fable isn’t quite the mystery that it used to be. The reboot’s initial announcement last year shared next to no information, aside from what seemed like a cursory glance at the world. While it seemed clear at the time that Playground Games, the new developer of Fable, wanted to return to classic fantasy, more specifics on gameplay and lore were nowhere to be found. Focus Entertainment and Deck 13, developer of The Surge series, have announced a new semi-open-world fantasy action RPG called Atlas Fallen for PC and consoles. Revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022 with a trailer, the new game from the German studio will retain the visceral feel of The Surge games while introducing new combat mechanics that will make for fast-paced and spectacular fights that will require skill and timing. The game will also with unique design elements like Sand Gliding that will grant players the right mobility to explore this unique world....
