Developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, Fallout 76 is an online action RPG that was released in 2018. It is the first game in the Fallout franchise that is online only and does not feature a single-player campaign.
While the game sold more than 1.4 million copies within a year of its launch, many have criticized the game because of the sheer volume of bugs and issues that popped up.
Issues such as the friend list not working and black screen/stuck at loading after fast travel have affected the gameplay experience negatively.
That being said, Fallout 76 players are now reporting (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) that the infamous Vendor bug has made a comeback.
In case you didn’t know, the vendor bug allows vendors to sell a random item from your stash for a random amount of caps that other players can buy. Some players have reported losing their atom shop skins.
Apparently, Bethesda had acknowledged the problem and said that it was under investigation.
As it turns out, the Vendor bug is back now with numerous Fallout 76 players reporting that they are losing items once again.
If you were affected by the Vendor bug at some point in the past or want to avoid it altogether, a user has shared some tips that might help avoid the bug.
