Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

Fall Guys is a unique battle royale game as it involves 60 players battling it out in a few mini-games to win a crown in the end.

Since going free to play on all of its platforms, the game has become a fan favorite for many players out there.

To recall, Fall Guys players have faced several issues in the past including the ‘Top Speed’ hunt challenge being bugged and trophies not unlocking on PlayStation, to name a few.

Fall Guys crashing on Nintendo Switch

And now, many Fall Guys players have been reporting an issue for a while where the game keeps crashing on the Nintendo Switch (1,2,3,4,5,6).

Due to this issue, the game closes and players return to the main menu with a message that says ‘The software was closed because an error occurred’ on their displays.

This issue prevents Fall Guys players from enjoying the game on their Nintendo Switches, as it keeps crashing randomly during matches.

Some Fall Guys players thought that the flashing light issue might have caused this problem. But the developers have addressed all visual effects-related issues.

This isn’t really a new issue as first few reports date a few months back (1,2,3).

Unfortunately, Fall Guys support is yet to officially acknowledge this issue or provide any ETA for a fix. Therefore, it’s likely that the problem may stick around for a while.

Until then, we will keep an eye out on this issue and update this space as and when we come across more information so make sure you stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
