In her bitter court matter with the Kardashians, Blac Chyna had the odds stacked against her, according to the Executive Producer of Rob and Chyna, who accuses the judge of being biased.
Reason of accusation
Chyna alleged that the TV reality stars wrecked her career by persuading network executives to cancel her show, Rob & Chyna. However, the famous family emerged triumphant from the dispute, valued at an estimated $100 million, with no damages granted. On Monday, a jury found that none of them had intentionally defamed Chyna, but that they had acted in “poor faith.”
During the nine-day trial at the Los Angeles Superior Courthouse, the four defendants, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, all took the stand at different times. Rob & Chyna was a one-season show on the E! network in 2016 that followed the former couple as they prepared for the birth of their daughter.
Chyna said that the show was later canceled because Rob Kardashian’s family falsely told TV executives that she had assaulted him. The Kardashian-Jenners were not justified in notifying the producers of Rob & Chyna that Chyna harmed their son and her boyfriend Rob, according to jurors.
However, they determined that it had no significant impact on Chyna’s contract or the show’s cancellation, thus no damages were given. Rob & Chyna terminated because the relationship ended, not because of any action done by the Kardashian-Jenners, according to E! executives. The celebrity family was in New York for the 2022 Met Gala when the trial judgement was given out.
Walter Mosley believes the Kardashians had more than a slight advantage, citing a slew of lawyers in the courtroom, an infinite supply of cash to throw at the lawsuit, and a judge who clearly favored the famous family. Mosley was not surprised when the Kardashians won their legal battle with Chyna.
It was a classic case of David vs Goliath, Mosley remarked on the “It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper” program. The Kardashians’ legal expense, according to Mosley, was over $5 million. He claims that while the judge seemed to enjoy the Kardashians, he didn’t like Chyna’s sole attorney.
When Walter was on the stand, he noted some imbalanced treatment from the judge, according to Walter, who was in court for the majority of the trial and even testified.
Chyna, for one, appears to be rolling with the punches and she’s not looking back on the case, preferring to look forward.
