Hold tight as David Allen rides alongside Mia in survival horror video game Evil Dead: The Game as a Survivor on September 8.
This is undoubtedly one of the most exhilarating moments for Evil Dead fans. Seeing their favorite character in the video game only adds to the players’ excitement.
However, it’s not quite an excitement when there are a number of issues waiting to be ameliorated by the developers.
Evil Dead: The Game Shemps and Amulets exploit
One such issue (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) in Evil Dead: The Game is about the survivors getting infinite shemps or amulets. Due to this, many players are now taking undue advantage of the exploit.
The exploit pertains to drinking a shemp and dropping it from inventory before the animation stops. In this way, the character heals and also picks up the shemps from the ground to use it again.
It is incredibly frustrating for those who are beginners because they are clueless as to how others are getting an edge over them.
Official acknowledgment
Fortunately, developers have acknowledged the issue and are currently working on a fix. It’ll hopefully be fixed with the upcoming patch.
Sadly, Evil Dead: The Game players might have to deal with the shemps and amulets exploit for a little longer as there is no ETA for a fix. There is also no workaround that can possibly help address the issue.
Hopefully, the issue gets resolved soon so that players can go back to completing the game in a fair manner. We’ll keep tabs on further developments and update the article accordingly.
