Developed and published by Ukraine-based studio Battlestate Games, Escape from Tarkov is an online multiplayer shooting game. It is set in the fictional region of Norvinsk, where two factions are fighting against each other.
However, players have complained about several technical bugs and issues such as scopes getting blurry after a recent patch and ‘Connection type’ settings broken.
And now, Escape from Tarkov players say they are not getting anything from the new Scav case (1,2,3,4,5). Many say they are seeing a ‘228 – Items moving: invalid recipe’ error message when trying to collect items from the case.
Others say the timer is showing hours in negative. Players are wondering when they will be getting items from the new scav cases.
Thankfully, the head of the studio at Battlestate Games Nikita Buyanov shed some light on the matter and clarified the scav case is not bugged but is a part of an ongoing event where the new lighthouse trader is stealing all the money.
Since the tweet is not clear, a player provided a plausible explanation as to what is happening.
Maybe Escape from Tarkov developers have set a community goal that will give us more information once the scavs collect enough roubles. As always, we will keep an eye out on the event and update this article once we come across more information so stay tuned.
