Eminem and Snoop Dogg have collaborated on a new song named “From the D 2 the LBC.” The music video has already reached millions of people across the globe and shares an animated picture of rappers in ape avatars. The avatars in this semi-animated music video which is directed by James Larese bear resemblance to Bored Apes Yacht Club (BAYC).

The music video has been published on Youtube following Eminem’s tweet on 24 June. His tweet has also featured two animated ape characters depicting their connection with the BAYC.

Took too long to reconnect with @snoopdogg– you know we had to make a movie! https://t.co/087W2OZJOI #FromTheDToTheLBC #curtaincall2 @BoredApeYC pic.twitter.com/k443JqXHON

The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is a nonfungible token (NFT) collection built on the Ethereum blockchain which is a community-run technology responsible for the transaction of cryptocurrency ether (ETH), NFTs, and other decentralized applications.

According to sources, the Bored Aoe Yacht Club or BAYC is a limited NFT collection that can be bought as inventory. NFTs can be special digital artworks from a community of investors and collectors. One can buy NFTs from the NFT marketplace to collaborate with other collectors and be a part of that community. Once it is bought the NFT can be stored in the digital wallet under the security of Blockchain.

Reports say that Eminem’s music video is produced by 1st AMENDMENT and Young California in collaboration with the BAYC. Both of these rappers are well aware of the NFT communities, so it won’t come off as a surprise if the music video is to hike demands for the BAYC.

According to a source, Eminem has previously invested $462,000 for the BAYC memberships after purchasing the NFT from OpenSea’s NFT market. Snoop Dogg has also invested in MoonPay along with other celebrities this April to create an NFT-based marketplace.
