The actor, set to be seen next in the alternate season of the International Emmy- winning show Tehran, says, “ I guess in the start, yes. Right now, it has changed a lot. I’ve auditioned for everything I did. I get a lot of feedback from people telling me‘you speak better than Indians occasionally’! That’s great to know.”
Elnaaz Norouzi began her acting career with Punjabi movies, post a successful term as an foreign model.
Elnaaz agrees that being a outsider in the Indian entertainment industry isn’t easy. She said, “ It has been tough, not an easy road. I guess it ’ll continue to be a lot of struggle. I’m not from a Bollywood family. I’m not from India, so it gets indeed harder for me. But, it has also had its beautiful sides. I’m getting to live my dream of being an actor in Bollywood.”
She made her acting debut in 2018 with the Pakistani film “Maan Jao Naa” in which she played the role of ‘Raania.’ Next, Punjabi film she did was “Khido Khundi.” Elnaaz played the role of ‘Naaz Grewal’ in the movie. She has also appeared in the music videos of the Punjabi songs “Made in India” and “Dillagi.”
