Elite Dangerous is the fourth installment in the multiplayer space simulation saga. It is a game that seeks to offer a ‘go your way’ experience through the Milky Way.
However, recently, Elite Dangerous players are facing some issues with certain aspects of the game after its most recent update.
Elite Dangerous latest update removed fire groups
One of the bugs reported by Elite Dangerous players is related to fire groups, which are being removed or ‘blanked’. So, they are not working properly.
A fire group is basically a set of weapons and other items that the player can configure to have them available easily. The game allows players to configure multiple fire groups.
But, after the last update, the fire groups are blanked, removing the configuration made by the player (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).
Also crash issues after Elite Dangerous latest update
The most recent update to the game also brought up an issue related to outfitters. In Elite Dangerous, Outfitting service allows the player to trade and manage weapons and other items.
But, according to multiple reports, when players try to open an outfitter, the game crashes immediately. Therefore, the bug limits the possibilities and progress in the game (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).
Developers are aware of the two glitches
The Elite Dangerous team confirmed that they are aware of the reports. Currently, both issues are under investigation, with no estimated arrival date for a fix.
So, for the moment, it only remains to wait for more official developments to emerge on the matter. If there is any in the coming days, we will update this article.
This issue has been reported by other players since update 9.0 and our QA team is currently looking investigating it.

01:38 PM (IST): Elite Dangerous recently announced that they will be releasing fixes to resolve some high-priority bugs on December 13. So, players can expect it to fix fire groups removed or not working & crash issues.
