Game Capture is an advanced studio/game streaming software designed to ‘inspire you to create, and equip you with tools to make your content shine.’

This handy little software has lately been bumping into issues on macOS. Users report that they’re unable to stream to Twitch because the login process keeps failing.

Yep, the Twitch login dialog gets stuck with an infinite loading spinner due to which streaming becomes impossible. The error occurs after inputting the token from the authenticator app.

This issue isn’t exactly novel either considering that there are reports dating back to the start of the month. Still, it is unclear if everyone is affected by it or if it is limited to a select group of users only.

Nonetheless, if you are one of the those facing the Elgato Game Capture login issue when trying to sign-in to Twitch on macOS, then you will be relieved to know that Elgato Support has announced the following on Twitter:

As clear from above, Elgato is aware of the bug affecting macOS users and are currently investigating it. They even recommended using RTMP as an alternative method for streaming in the meantime.

However, if you’re not interested in alternatives, then your best bet would be to try to remove and then re-add your Twitch account from Stream Deck software. You can also create a new Stream Deck.

That said, we will continue to keep an eye out for any further developments on the Elgato Game Capture login issue with Twitch, so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
