Elden Ring players have a lot of choices when it comes to what builds they want to craft or what weapons they want to use. Developers did a great job in adding a wide array of weapon types, abilities, Sorceries, and Talismans. Those that are looking to create a build centered around Poison or Scarlet Rot have a lot of great weapon and ability choices to help them craft the perfect setup. There’s even a strong Talisman that can be paired with these damage-over-time abilities to create the perfect storm of chip damage and raw power.
The Kindred of Rot’s Exultation is perfect for those that are looking to increase the power of their own weapons while simultaneously depleting the enemy’s health bar over time. The best part is, it’s not too difficult to find, though it is locked behind a fairly annoying boss depending on a player’s build. Here’s where to get the Kindred of Rot’s Exultation in Elden Ring.
Where To Find Kindred of Rot’s Exultation In Elden Ring
To snag Kindred of Rot’s Exultation, players need to make their way to the Seethewater Cave in Mt. Gelmir. It’s just Northeast of the Volcano Manor area, near a Minor Erdtree.
Once players make their way to the cave, they’ll need to head through it until they eventually come across the boss door, triggering a fight against the Kindred of Rot. This particular boss can be a headache depending on a player’s build, as these enemies are difficult enough in the field. The boss version is definitely an upgrade and players will need to make sure they are focusing on one of the twins while simultaneously keeping an eye on the other. It’s a tough fight for those that are lower-leveled (or the appropriate level, even) but the battle gets much, much easier after one of the twins is defeated and only one remains.
After both Kindred of Rot are defeated, players will be able to collect the Kindred of Rot’s Exultation.
What Does The Kindred of Rot’s Exultation Do?
Those that love to use Poison or Scarlet Rot against their enemies will absolutely want to get their hands on this Talisman as soon as possible. The Kindred of Rot’s Exultation will give a buff to a player’s attack power (20 percent increase) for 20 seconds whenever an enemy in the vicinity is inflicted with Poison or Scarlet Rot. This can be quite the boost for anyone that’s running a Strength build but also incorporating these types of damage-over-time.
