New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on February 25, 2022) follows:
Developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Elden Ring is an open-world RPG game. The game takes place after the destruction of Elden Ring and the shattering of Great Runes.
The third-person game focuses on combat and exploration with elements similar to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Just after a few minutes after it was launched, the title smashed player records for Sekiro and Dark Souls 3.
Having said that, Elden Ring players are now reporting (1,2,3,4) that the controller is not working on the PC version of the game. This is a really serious issue since many are unable to play the game.
Players say they tried reconnecting their controller and restarting the game but nothing seems to work.
Unfortunately, Elden Ring developers are yet to acknowledge the issue where controller is not working on the PC version of the game. However, we did come across a workaround that might help resolve the issue.
The first one involves connecting the controller and disconnecting the keyboard before launching the game. You can reconnect the keyboard after launching the game.
The second workaround involves disabling the HID-compliant game controller from Human Interface Devices from the Device Manager.
Rest assured, we will be keeping an eye out for more information and update this space as and when we come across more information so make sure you stay tuned.
