New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on October 20, 2021) follows:

EA’s NHL franchise is a long-running ice hockey simulation game series that was initially released in 1991. NHL 22 is 31st and the latest installment in this video game series launched on October 15, 2021.

Developed by EA Vancouver and published by EA Sports, NHL 22 is available to play on different gaming platforms including PlayStation and Xbox.

With NHL 19, EA introduced World of CHEL (WoC), an upgraded online multiplayer mode with different new ways to play. And since then, this game mode has received several changes.

But lately, some players are now reporting certain issues with World of CHEL. As per reports (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), players have complained about syncing issues which is making the game unplayable.

Moreover, there are some more issues bothering gamers in NHL 22 World of CHEL where the game gets stuck or the connection is lost.

Some players are also troubled by the audio of the announcer which is misleading. And also, there is no mute button in the game so that they can get rid of the voice.

Here are some reports for reference:

When playing with friends, synchronizing delay is causing trouble for many. The game starts for one player, while for the other, it keeps synchronizing and stops after some time.

As a result, the other player enters a delayed version of the match and the scores are shown differently for both. This glitch is making the game confusing for gamers.

Luckily, EA support has acknowledged the syncing issue of NHL 22 and it is currently under investigation. Moreover, the support team also recommended a temporary workaround that some players have found.

If the syncing bug is bothering you then you can try this workaround:

If trying the above-mentioned workaround does not fix the issue then you’ll have to wait until devs fix this bug.

We hope that EA fixes the NHL World of Chel sync and connection errors as soon as possible. That said, we will keep you updated on the further development of this story as and when anything new comes to our notice.
