New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on October 06, 2021) follows:
FIFA 22 is the latest installment in the decade-old FIFA series. The football simulation is published by EA sports.
What sets FIFA 22 apart from its predecessors is Hypermotion Technology. However, the feature is only available on the Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia, and PlayStation 5.
Moreover, EA also introduced a create-a-club option in the career mode, which enables users to build a club from scratch.
However, the game seems to have had a rough start with some users reporting that the pre-order packs were not giving OTW players as intended and the FIFA A22 companion app glitching when listing players in the transfer market.
And as if that wasn’t enough, it looks like another issue is making the game unplayable for many. FIFA 22 players are now reporting that the game freezing and lagging on multiple platforms including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
This is really frustrating since it is literally making the game unplayable with many getting angry with EA for releasing an unfinished product. Players say that the freezing issue is causing them to lose the game.
Moreover, many have also reported that FIFA 22 is lagging randomly, with some complaining they experience stuttering even in the game menu. The lag seems to affect players regardless of the platform they are on, suggesting that there is something wrong with the game itself.
Nonetheless, the root cause of the issue still remains unknown. But as it turns out, EA is indeed aware of the issue and said that it is currently under investigation. It still remains to be seen how many days pass by before players can enjoy the game normally.
However, EA did not share any ETA on when the problem will be solved. We hope EA resolves the issues as soon as possible.
When EA fixes the freezing and lagging issue with FIFA 22, we will update this space so make sure you stay tuned for more information.
