Successor to the original Dying Light that was released back in 2015, Dying Light 2 is the second installment in the series. Developed and published by Techland, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic world.
But ever since its release, players have complained about several bugs and glitches that are ruining the gameplay experience.
From audio issues on the Xbox to players stuck in an infinite loading screen, new bugs and glitches are still surfacing.
That being said, Dying Light 2 players are now reporting (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) that the recent update has broken controllers on the Xbox.
Many say that the bug is preventing them from controlling their character or the game while others say that it stops working completely.
Players said they tried using different controllers but the issue still persists. Below are some reports from Dying Light 2 players on Xbox who say that the recent update has broken controllers.
Unfortunately, Dying Light 2 developers are yet to acknowledge the issue. Having said that, we came across a workaround that seems to be fixing the controllers on Xbox for Dying Light 2.
A bunch of players are saying that lowering Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) from 120Hz to 60Hz did the trick for them.
We hope the developers soon find out the root cause of the issue and fix it in the coming updates so Xbox players are able to enjoy Dying Light 2 using controllers once again.
