Amber Heard claims she’s drowning in legal fees, including the $8.3 million she owes Johnny Depp, but she went to great lengths to maintain herself and her family in the lap of luxury during the trial.

According to TMZ, Amber called this 13,000-square-foot Virginia estate her home away from home; it’s only 25 minutes from the Fairfax County Courthouse, where Amber’s 6-week trial was held. The house boasts its own tennis court, professional home movie theatre, and fitness area with spa on the acre of ground it stands on.

While her name isn’t listed in the documents, the house was rented on May 4 for $22,500 per month.

Although it’s unclear if she was staying there before May 4 (the trial began on April 11), neighbours say Amber was there with her daughter, Oonagh Paige, her mother, and her sister, Whitney.

Amber’s security detail was also visible on the premises, according to our sources.

As you may be aware, Amber is now facing a judgement of more than $8 million, and while her lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, has stated that they want to appeal, Amber claims she lacks the financial means to pay Johnny.
