Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance take players once again in the Forgotten Realms, this time in Icewind Dale. Set after the events of The Crystal Shard, Drizzt Do’Urden and three companions need to stop forces working to acquire Crenshinibon, a crystal shard of awesome yet dreadful power. In this game, Drizzt wields trusty Scimitars to engage opponents in a dance to the death. With the right armaments, he can easily wreak havoc in the battlefield.

Players looking to maximize their Drizzt builds need the right pair of weapons to do the job. Depending on the Scimitar equipped, Drizzt can capitalize on sheer attack power, critical chance, or a wide range of unique abilities.

10 Fire Resistance Scimitar

Tempered in the fires of combat, the Fire Resistance Scimitar is testament to the ever-present nature of war. As God of Battle Tempus said in the flavor text, winning isn’t always the one thing that makes combat worthwhile.

While the rest of the Fire Resistance set contains warm quotes from beings all throughout the game, Drizzt’s ideals for justice reflect in the Scimitar’s description. This Scimitar is a must-have for players who want a dose of damage-over-time fire as a part of their repertoire.

9 Necrotic Resistance Scimitar

With the Necrotic Resistance Scimitar, folks with ties to Crenshinibon and the dark forces of the Forgotten Realms highlight their power. True to its name, using this Scimitar lets Drizzt tap into these darker powers, allowing him to curse his foes to damnation.

Like other Scimitars, Drizzt can get more properties out of them depending on their rarity. And depending on the number of pieces equipped, Drizzt can gain a number of benefits. This Scimitar is essential if players want to quickly annihilate foes.

8 Acid Resistance Scimitar

The best defense is a good offense, and flavor text in the Acid Resistance Scimitar highlights its importance. With this Scimitar, Drizzt learns the value of good defensive strategies. And as other pieces in this set show, good defensive strategies work out in the end.

The Acid Resistance Scimitar and its armor’s natural perks are still interesting, however. Players who want to play around with combos with less risk of retaliation will appreciate this weapon.

7 Remorhaz Brotherhood Scimitar

Trials forge the fiercest of friendships, and Drizzt forged his with Bruenor Battlehammer through their battles together. As the Remorhaz Brotherhood set inferred, Bruenor once hated the idea of being friends with a Drow, but Drizzt’s values changed his mind. Reflecting their unique friendship, the Remorhaz Brotherhood Scimitar also explores Drizzt’s magical potential.

As with other weapons, this Scimitar’s rarity determines its unique attunements. When wielded as part of the set, the Remorhaz Brotherhood greatly amplifies Drizzt’s affinity with elements.

6 Wearer Of The Mask Scimitar

Gear within the Wearer of the Mask set highlights Drizzt’s experiences with the brutal, compassionless aspects of Drow society. Drizzt explains it himself: the Scimitar is often called the Edge of Readiness, highlighting the necessity to remember that paranoia can transform the best of friends into fearsome foes.

The Scimitar highlights this trait, too, as its bonuses encourage Drizzt to be as merciless as possible. This weapon heavily encourages a stealth build that focuses on precision surprise attacks.

5 Warden Of Mielikki Scimitar

Mielikki, or the Forest Queen, serves as the Goddess of Nature in the Forgotten Realms. Should Drizzt tap into his affinity with nature, the Goddess can bless him as the Warden of Mielikki, granting him powerful armor and an equally potent Scimitar.

With this Scimitar, every strike can help Drizzt regain his strength, befitting his role as protector of nature. The Warden of Mielikki Scimitar incentivizes a lifesteal build, which boosts Drizzt’s survivability – perfect for a solo build.

4 Sorcere’s Sentinel Scimitar

In the early years of Drizzt’s life, he became the apprentice of Masoj Hun’ett, a Drow Wizard at the last year of his studies within Sorcere. Despite his distaste for the combat arts, the Scimitar and the armor set reveals Drizzt’s preference for swordplay over magic.

Its relatively mundane lifesteal and Bleed opportunities could use work compared to other weapons. However, it’s still a powerful weapon in Drizzt’s hands.

3 Dragonsbane Scimitar

When Drizzt left the Underdark, it was Montolio Debrouchee, a retired blind Ranger, who taught the Drow how to speak Common and be one with nature. Named after the dragon that forever changed Montolio’s life, the Dragonsbane Scimitar also emphasizes Drizzt’s training in the precise ways of the Ranger.

While rarity dictates the bonus attributes within the Scimitar, its innate talents synchronize with more pieces of the set. Players who want to maximize their DPS with Drizzt will appreciate this Scimitar.

2 Tundra Raptor Scimitar

The Tundra Raptor set highlights Drizzt’s demonstration of Ranger prowess. Thanks to archer Cattie-brie and her insights, Drizzt’s wear of choice while hunting in the icy tundra clearly showcases his pragmatic yet talented approach to hunting.

This Scimitar and gear set suits players with a combo-heavy playstyle. With this weapon, DPS per hit matters more than dishing out one giant attack.

1 Do’Urden Prince Scimitar

Zaknafein, Drizzt’s father, was a commoner that once attained Do’Urden Patron status thanks to Matron Malice, the former head of the family. When Zaknafein became a mere weapons master in the family, he retained and passed on his good nature and skill in combat to Drizzt.

Players can learn through the Scimitar that Zaknafein had distaste for the Drow’s culture of deception and ruthlessness. With the Do’Urden Prince Scimitar, Drizzt can capitalize stealth and ambush builds with this set.
