The British sitcom Drifters was created by Jessica Knappett. Simon Wilson and Damon Beesley are the executive producers. A friend, two cousins, as well as their journey from high school to college, are the subject of the television show. On October 31, 2014, the television series aired. On October 10, 2016, Season 4 was made publicly available. E4 network broadcast Drifters. IMDb gives the series a score of 7.0 out of 10.
Sadly, Knappett, the show’s creator, confirmed the ending of Drifters on Richard Herring’s Leicester Theatre Podcast.
Is the series canceled?
Each episode of the four seasons of the show attracted 0.5 million viewers. Despite this, the show received a wide range of evaluations. The show was criticized for adopting an idealistic approach to solving problems in reality. Knappett asserts that the majority of the story is authentic and based on his own experiences. Some even continued to criticize the show as being sluggish and asserting that the characters lacked courage.
All the criticism led E4 to cancel the show, even if fans already anticipated the renewal. E4 had not made a final choice as of 2019. Knappett decided to end the show entirely as a result.
