Highlights from Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s bail hearing: According to a jail official, Aryan Khan will spend one more night at the Arthur Road jail on Friday because his parole papers did not arrive on time. The officer went on to say that no one would be given preferential treatment.

Actress Juhi Chawla appeared before the special NDPS court earlier in the day as a guarantor to complete Aryan Khan’s release requirements.

The 5-page operative order with bail terms for Aryan Khan and two others arrested in the cruise ship cocaine bust case was released by the Bombay High Court on Friday. The HC granted Aryan Khan bail in the cruise ship cocaine raid case on Thursday. In their appeals against the special NDPS court’s rejection of their bail applications, co-accused Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were also granted release.

The three defendants have been ordered to be released on bail after posting a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh with one or more sureties in the same amount. In due course, the High Court will make the reasoned order available separately. In the ruling, a single-judge bench led by Justice Nitin W Sambre stated, “Applicants/Accused should not engage in any activity comparable to the acts on the ground of which the abovementioned complaint stands recorded against them for violations under the NDPS Act.”

The order stated, “Applicants shall not attempt to establish communication with co-accused or any other person participating directly or indirectly in similar actions, or make any call to any person indulging in similar activities as charged against them, using any means of communication.”

Finally, a light of happiness is being shared at Shah Rukh Khan’s residence Mannat. Diwali lightings are being installed at their house.
