Matt Corman and Chris Ord of Covert Affairs are attached to develop and executive produce a series that will once again return the Man Without Fear into the Marvel fold, according to Variety.

After debuting on Netflix’s street-level Marvel Realm, the MCU has established that Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin exist in their universe.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Cox reprised his role as Murdock while defending Peter Parker, and D’Onofrio recreated his role as the enemy in Disney Plus’ Hawkeye.

Fans believe that these appearances are just the beginning for the two as Marvel continues to expand its TV and film universe. Instead of a new Daredevil series, it’s been speculated that Cox and D’Onofrio could make additional guest appearances on shows like She-Hulk, which is set in the legal realm, or Echo, who has a link to Kingpin.

Daredevil’s film and television history is quite young. Cox took on the role in 2015 when Netflix announced an agreement with Marvel to produce a series of programmes based on The Defenders. Ben Affleck first played the character in a solo film in 2003.

Netflix also presented Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Mike Colter) alongside Cox’s Matt Murdock (Finn Jones).

These shows were eventually pulled from Netflix, but were then re-released on Disney Plus in their entirety, with no content censorship.
