The issue may causes a long wait between sending and receiving a message, voice desynchronization or audio cutting out while speaking.
hi all, been using discord for so long now and in the last month or so my voice cuts out when i enter a game, and also my friends can’t hear me. it’ll cut back in sometiems and be super delayed. sometimes it works okay but usually not. i stream on twitch and have a great mic and headset. great pc build. there’s no drivers that need updating. tried resetting discord. nothing works. it’s starting to get really really frustrating. any help? Performance issues on Discord app too
There are also reports of users who have been facing performance issues related to the Discord app. In the most common cases, users just experience in-app laggy or stutter performance.
In other cases, the Discord app is also causing freezing and ‘muted audio’ issues on the users PC (even outside the app).
Basically when I’m just browsing the VC in my server works fine, but as soon as I open minecraft it starts delaying for absolutely no reason around 10 seconds in. I think it’s the same with other games but not sure. Anyone else having this problem? And does anyone know the solution to this? Thanks. Source

It happens to me when I play apex or Fortnite
My pc will freeze, all audio will mute, then my voice is super delayed in discord. I even did a full pc wipe just to try and fix it Source
