The third significant update this year is the as-of-yet-untitled Destiny 2 Season 18 upgrade.  Reruns of Raid, Festival of the Lost, and Iron Banner are all included in the new season. Raid will also return.  Additional things to anticipate are the customary Power Level boost and new Exotics. Season 18 will be released on the following date, and that is all we know.

The release date for Destiny 2 Season 18 is Tuesday, August 23, and it will be available on the following days: release schedules

UK: 7 pm (BST) Europe: 8 pm (CEST) East Coast US: 2:00 PM (EDT) West Coast US: 11 am (PDT)

The patch will be put into place when the weekly reset goes live, which will be 1 hour and 15 minutes before the times listed above, or at 4:45 PM in the UK or 9:45 AM PST. You should be able to start playing immediately after downloading.

You must log in to the Destiny 2 Showcase shopping mode at this period, which starts two hours earlier at 9 AM PDT / 5 PM UK on Bungie’s different streaming services. (Or three hours if you want to see the pre-show, at 8 am PDT / 4 pm UK.)

Season 18’s roadmap, which takes us from August to November, includes:

  • Friday 26 August: Reprized Raid
  • Tuesday, Sept 6: Iron banner (week 1)
  • Friday, Sept 16: Trials of Osiris returns
  • Tuesday, October 4: Grandmaster Nightfalls returns
  • Tuesday, October 18: Festival of the Lost 2022
  • Tuesday 15 November: Iron banner (week 2)

What more is in store for Season 18 of Destiny 2?

The following is forthcoming while we wait for the official Season 18 title and theme: Artefact Mods and a new Season Pass. a redesigned version of Arc 3.0 that may be altered with aspects and pieces. Bungie provides the details in this in-depth article. Sandbox is turned into a weapon (polishing heavy grenade launchers and scout rifles in PvE), exotics get Anti-Champion abilities, and more. This TWAB will contain all of the changes. All players “may enter the Crucible and obtain regular matches where they can feel competitive and have a realistic chance of winning/competing,” according to changes made to the matchmaking system.
