One of the most interesting things that Destiny 2 offers is that players can freely switch between any activity they want, and there are quite a lot of them. PvE content includes several missions, Dungeons, Strikes and Nightfalls, and Raids, and that’s not even all of it. PvP, on the other hand, comes with the Crucible playlist, game modes like Mayhem rotating in and out of the weekly selection, Iron Banner, and Trials of Osiris, which was reworked and changed a lot throughout this Season.

Then, Destiny 2 players can also hop into Gambit, a game mode that blends PvE and PvP elements in a scenario where the goal is to defeat enemies to get Motes, but also invade the opposing team and deny them Motes by defeating enemy players. Gambit can be one of the most intense experiences in Destiny 2, as the tides of a match are almost never set in stone and anything can change, from melting down the Primeval and winning to invading the enemy team and stopping them from depositing their Motes.

A Destiny 2 player shared a clip on Reddit under the name of thquiet, showing them invading the opposing team’s field in Gambit while everyone was running to the bank to deposit their Motes. Just as the opposing Guardians defeated the Blockers, thquiet used their One Thousand Voices to land a single shot that killed the entire team, denying them a total of 47 Motes, which would have balanced the match if they were successfully deposited. The player also had a single shot available with their One Thousand Voices, but they made it count thanks to the delayed explosions created by the Exotic weapon.

Because thquiet’s post states how the player would have loved to hear the opposing Guardians’ reaction, another Redditor made a clever comment about the weapon not being One Thousand Voices, but rather One Terrible Scream. The comment is all the more fitting, seeing how that’s the name of an Exotic Ornament for the Raid-exclusive fusion rifle, even though thquiet was not using it in the video.

Destiny 2’s weapons are one of the game’s best elements, and Exotics are often so powerful because they drastically change what any other weapon with the same archetype can do. Black Armory weapons were also very popular when the Season launched, and ever since they were sunset, players have been asking for them to come back in some way.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
