Developed by the same studio that brought us the likes of Halo, Destiny 2 is an online multiplayer game that features a shared world with some RPG elements.
Over the years, Bungie has brought tons of content in the form of expansion packs which adds several hours of gameplay.
But these frequent updates to the game also make it susceptible to bugs such as the Diamond Lance Titan Stasis infinite fire glitch or the one where Gambit matches were causing the game to crash .
And now, Destiny 2 players are saying (1,2,3) that they are unable to progress in the exorcism quest. Many say that even though they have finished the quest, it is not registering as completed.
It looks like the bug has angered a lot of players with some saying that they waited months to play the conclusion of Seasons of the Lost’s storyline. In case you didn’t know, the Exorcism quest sets the ground for The Witch Queen.
Thankfully, Bungie Help has commented on the matter and said they are currently investigating the issue where Destiny 2 players are unable to progress in the Exorcism quest.
However, there is no ETA on when it will be fixed. That being said, we did come across a workaround that involves deleting the quest and reclaiming it from the archives in the Tower, and completing it again.
Nevertheless, we will be keeping tabs on this one and let you know once we come across new information, so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
Update 1 (February 19)
09:51 am (IST): Bungie Help on Twitter has confirmed that they have completed the first step of the Severing The Worm quest for the Exorcism mission for all players.
And now, players will be prompted to speak to Mara Sov in the H.E.L.M. to continue the quest from step 2.
