Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles is a retelling of the already popular Demon Slayer anime. It is an impressive 3D action-adventure fighting game developed by CyberConnect2.
The developers of the game recently introduced three new DLC characters from the Entertainment District.
While this is certainly good news for players, the game still has some kinks that need to be ironed out in order to improve the overall experience.
Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles crashing
Many players (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) are reporting an issue where Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles is crashing on Xbox.
The repeated crashing of the game is preventing players from creating or joining group matches. Many also find themselves unable to play the game online.
The issue is quite frustrating for players as sometimes, the entire game shuts off while inviting someone to a group battle on Xbox.
‘A communication error occurred’ message
Apart from crashing, the game (1, 2, 3, 4) is also showing a ‘A communication error occurred’ message while searching or creating a room online.
The game is basically unplayable for many players as it either throws an error message or simply takes them back to the Home Screen.
Official acknowledgment
Fortunately, developers have acknowledged the issue where Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles is crashing on Xbox and said that the team is working on a fix.
