We have often heard people say that Delta SkyMiles are worthless. This time, there is a solid reason for people to call it absolute junk.

Delta SkyMiles’ users usually find it difficult to understand and use. Unlike other airline miles, the amount of SkyMiles one pays to book a flight also varies drastically.

That said, many Delta Air Lines users (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) are currently facing an issue where Delta SkyMiles earned from previous flights or card spending is resetting to zero.

Users can usually track SkyMiles and card spending in their American Express account too. But Delta SkyMiles have disappeared from AMEX cards as well.

The issue is incredibly frustrating users as they are currently unable to use those miles to book flights. While others are simply confused as to whether they’ll be able to retrieve their card spending now.

Fortunately, Delta support took immediate cognizance of the issue and said that they are working towards rectifying the problem.

The team also believes that Delta SkyMiles resetting to zero might just be a visual glitch. As according to them, all earned cash spent is still in their account.

It still doesn’t really help ease the situation because users will still not be able to use those miles as long as they are not visible to them. So, we hope that the issue gets resolved soon.

Nevertheless, we’ll keep tabs on further developments and update the article accordingly.
