Delta is one of the oldest and most used airlines in the United States. It operates in over 50 countries and covers more than 275 destinations.
Travelers can book and manage their bookings directly through the Delta app or website. Besides flight bookings, they also provide other services such as hotel bookings, renting cars, vacation deals, and more.
However, fresh reports on micro-blogging site Twitter (1, 2) suggest that many users are having trouble accessing the Delta app and website.
Many users are reporting (1, 2, 3) that the Delta app and website are currently down or not working for them. Here are some reports for reference:
As apparent from the reports above, both the Delta app and website are not working, and it seems the issue has been ongoing for a few days now. As a result, those affected aren’t able to log in.
This is frustrating since users are unable to check their flight status and make bookings as they can’t log in.
Fortunately, Delta support didn’t take too long to acknowledge this outage and confirmed that they are working to resolve the login issue with their app. Here’s the full statement:

Update 1 (August 02)
03:33 pm (IST): It appears that Delta app is still not working for many as fresh reports (1, 2, 3) are coming in. Users are reporting that the app is crashing for them.
Also, Delta support is now asking those affected to contact them via private message.
Update 1 (August 17)
01:02 pm (IST): Delta support has now confirmed that the issue with their app has been resolved as they haven’t received any complaints from users of it being down.
Update 2 (August 20)
05:35 pm (IST): Many Delta users have taken to Twitter to report that the app and website is currently down and not working as they aren’t able to log in or use it.
The company is yet to acknowledge any widespread outage with its website and app.
