Deepika Padukone, a Bollywood actress who has come a long way in her career, celebrated her 14th year in the industry on Tuesday. Om Shanti Om, in which she starred alongside superstar Shah Rukh Khan, was released on November 9. Farah Khan’s directorial debut was a box office success. To commemorate the occasion, the actress uploaded a beautiful video montage on her social media accounts. She, Shah Rukh Khan, and the popular song ‘Teri Nazaron Ne Dil’ is included in the video. Fans of the actress expressed their delight on social media as well.
The hashtag #14YearsOfDeepikaPadukone quickly became one of Twitter’s most popular, with hundreds of tweets. Deepika played a double part in the film.
Returning to the actress’s video, it depicts her and Shah Rukh Khan’s amorous sequences from the film. Om Shanti Om is a film about a poor actor who falls in love with Shantipriya, a top actress. A scheming producer murders her, but the two will reappear years later in a reincarnation story. The film featured Arjun Rampal, Shreyas Talpade, and Kirron Kher in prominent parts.
Several accolades were given to the film. It got 12 nominations at the 53rd Filmfare Awards, winning Best Female Debut and Best Special Effects, as well as the National Film Award for Best Production Design.
The actress will soon be seen in Pathan, a film starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Along with Hrithik Roshan, she also has Fighter.
